Apart from this, the company has also introduced a new adventure Persona trim of Safari. It has been kept top in terms of price and its manual version has been priced at Rs 20.20 lakh (ex-showroom) and automatic version has been priced at Rs 21.45 lakh (ex-showroom).
The new Safari is based on the Tata’s five-seat SUV Harrier already on the market and has similar styling. It is Tata’s latest model to use the ‘Impact 2.0’ design that was first introduced in Harrier and Ultros. It is the second model after the Harrier, based on the Omegark architecture, which derives from Land Rover’s famous D8 platform.
Within the new fledgling Safari, it has a floating type 8.8-inch touch screen infotainment system and a semi-digital console for the driver, which is the same unit seen in the Harrier. It also has an electronic parking brake instead of the traditional lever-type handbrake. For the record, this is the first used feature in Tata Motors.
