Employees at a Virginia retailer filed on Tuesday with the National Labor Relations Board for a union election. The staff are looking for collective bargaining and get illustration by means of the New River Valley General Membership Branch of the Industrial Workers of the World.
Workers who filed for the election are at a Target retailer in Christiansburg, a city on the far west aspect of the state that is about 8 miles south of Virginia Tech University. The location has 100 staff, in accordance with the petition filed with the NLRB.
