According to PTI news, Prem Singh runs a YouTube channel called “Paras Official”, which has 4.55 lakh subscribers. As soon as the news came on Saturday that Ninong Ering, a member of the Arunachal Pradesh Legislative Assembly, wrote a letter to Prime Minister Narendra Modi, demanding to ban the Battlegrounds Mobile India game. Likewise, on Sunday, the online gaming streamer racially commented on Ninong Ering, calling him non-Indian and also calling Arunachal Pradesh a part of China.
DGP RP Upadhyay said, “A case of racial hatred has been registered against Paras and the cybercrime branch in Itanagar is investigating the matter.”
However, as soon as the case was filed, Youtube realized his mistake and also posted another video and apologized.
Significantly, Ninong Ering wrote a letter to Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Saturday and said that the Battlegrounds Mobile India game is just an illusion and it is an old PUBG mobile game coming with minor changes and the game has millions of Indian citizens including children. The trick is to collect user data and share it with foreign companies and the Chinese government. He also posted a picture of his three-page letter on Twitter.
