Xiaomi’s Mi Pad 5 tablet has been making headlines since last month. Its leaks suggest that the tablet will be equipped with high-end specifications and the company is planning to compete with Samsung and Apple’s flagship and premium tablets through it somewhere. The latest leak came via China’s Tipster, which claims that the upcoming tablet of Xioami will come with an LCD panel with a 120Hz refresh rate and will be designed according to ride hand users.
Chinese Tipster Digital Chat Station has shared via Weibo that Xiaomi will launch the upcoming Mi Pad 5 with a 120Hz LCD panel. Apart from this, it has also been reported that its design will be convenient for direct manual workers. In this, the fingerprint sensor will be given in the right side of the frame. Tipster also claims that the tablet will be made thinner and lighter.
Earlier it was reported that the Mi Pad 5 will pack a 4,260mAh dual cell battery, which means that the total capacity of the battery could be around 8,520mAh. Xioami can launch this tablet in two models. Its standard model will work on the MediaTek Dimensity 1200 chipset and will be a Pro model, with a Snapdragon 870 chipset. Apart from this, it is also reported that the new Xiaomi tablet will be equipped with a 2K display.
All these leaked specifications suggest that through Mi Pad 5, the company is planning to give a direct competition to Samsung’s flagship S-Series tablet and Apple iPad Pro. For a long time, Xiaomi was not focusing on this segment and it seemed that the company may be finding less profit in the tablet segment, but now leaks have started growing about this tablet and it seems that Xiaomi Mi Pad lineup Has become serious back.
There is currently no clarity on the launch date of the Mi Pad 5, but rumors say that the tablet may launch in July this year. Gizmochina’s report says that the price of the tablet can be 3,000 yuan (about 34,000 rupees).
