Hollywood actor Dwayne Johnson said that it would be an honor for him to serve the people of the country if he ever became the President of the US. Johnson’s comments came in response to a survey that said that almost half of America’s population wants to submit a claim for the presidential election.
WWE wrestler-turned-actor Johnson shared an article in a post written on Instagram, stating that at least 46 percent of Americans would support a presidential bid on behalf of Dwayne ‘The Rock’ Johnson. Johnson is also known as ‘The Rock’.
‘Our founders must have thought ..’
The actor wrote, “Very enjoyable, I don’t think our founding members would have ever thought that someone wearing a six-foot-four-inch, bald, tattooed, half-black, half-skinned, tequila-drinking fanny bag in their club Will be involved, but if it ever happens, it will be an honor for me to serve you.
I have already expressed my desire
In fact, Johnson’s father was black and mother is a resident of Samo. Also, he is famous for his style of wearing a bag that is tied towards the waist. This is not the first time the actor has expressed his desire to contest the presidential election. Johnson said in 2017 that he was ‘seriously considering’ his bid for the presidency.
America’s 46th President Joe Biden
Elections for the presidency in the US were held on November 3 last year, in which Joe Biden of the Democratic Party won. At the same time, the Republican Party candidate and former President Donald Trump was rejected by the public. However, Trump had refused to give up and had challenged the election results in many places. On 6 January, Trump supporters attacked the US parliament and five people died in the riots, for which the former president faced impeachment for the second time. After all the ups and downs, Biden was sworn in as the 46th President of the US on 20 January.
