Low-cost service easyJet mentioned it was “in the right place” to satisfy pent-up demand for summer time flights, with bookings above pre-pandemic ranges within the final 10 weeks and offered ticket yields for the fourth quarter 15% increased than in 2019.

Chief Executive Johan Lundgren mentioned easyJet was “absolutely focused” on strengthening its operational resilience for the summer time after it needed to cancel flights at Easter due to crew absences.
